The answer is: pay inequality.

Regarding to the work place, historically, there has been an issue that remains as evidence of gender discrimination, which is pay inequality. Also known as the gender pay gap, pay inequality is defined as the difference between women’s and men’s average weekly full-time base salary earnings.

This pay gap is a result of different factors. Although it may seem that the only one is a bias regarding pay decisions, it also involves more complex elements such as men and women working in different industries, (generally industries with higher salaries are male dominated), and the time women spend out of the workforce due to responsibilities related with caring and domestic work, which situates them in disadvantage with men when it comes to promotions and new career opportunities.

cluponka [151]

In this book, Jonathan Kozol wrote an ethnography of public schools in Chicago and its suburbs. Kozol argued that, because schools were funded by local property taxes, children in poor neighborhoods were necessarily trapped in poor schools. This system reinforces inequality. He also records the many differences between "poor" and "rich" schools," which included the difference in funding in arts and music and the number of foreign language teachers, nurses, librarians and psychologists.

The equation f(x) is given as x2 – 4 = 0. Considering the
valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

The correct answer is "\frac{10}{3}".

Explanation:

The given function is:

f(x)=x^2-4=0

and,

x_0=6

By differentiating with the help of Newton's Raphson method, we get

⇒ x_{n+1}=x_n-\frac{f(x_n)}{f'(x_n)}

then,

⇒ x_1=x_0-\frac{f(x_0)}{f'(x_0)}

        =6-\frac{f(6)}{f'(6)}

        =6-\frac{(6)^2-4}{2\times 6}

        =6-\frac{8}{3}

        =\frac{10}{3}
