Answer:

Second answer/Third Answer

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's go through each of the examples:

First example -

Here plane DIH is parallel to plane BAF and thus doesn't intersect the plane

Second example -

Here all examples are appropriate

Third example -

Here all examples are appropriate

Fourth example -

Here plane DCH is parallel to plane BAF and thus doesn't intersect the plane

* It's hard to tell if it is the second or third answer, try the second

<h3>Answer: Choice 2</h3><h3>BCD, GHG, FID, FIH</h3>

============================================================

See the diagram below. I have marked 5 faces of the rectangular prism.

Face BAF or plane BAF is the left face or the left wall of the rectangular prism. It is marked in green for each drawing. We only need 3 points to uniquely identify a plane. So we don't need to say "Face BAFG" as that fourth point is unnecessary.

The blue faces are the ones attached to the green face. They intersect the green face and share common edges. For instance, face BAF and face BCD intersect at segment BA. Points B and A, and everything in between are found in both planes BAF and BCD.

So we have

  • BCD = top face
  • CHG = back face
  • FID = front face
  • FIH = bottom face

all shown in blue in the diagram below, and all of those blue faces attach or intersect the green face at some segment.

Jennifer and Joshua meet for dinner at a restaurant. After dinner, Joshua drives 15 miles south while Jennifer drives 12 miles w
Natasha_Volkova [10]

Answer:

19.209 miles from each other.

Step-by-step explanation:

{a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  =  {c}^{2}

Using this we get:

{15}^{2}  +  {12}^{2}  =  {x}^{2}

225 + 144 = 369 =  {x}^{2}

\sqrt{369 }  = 19.209

(9 x 10) + (20x + 21) = 571<br><br> What does (x) equal
creativ13 [48]
(9 × 10) + (20x + 21) = 571
90 + 20x + 21 = 571
111 + 20x = 571
- 111
20x = 460
÷ 20
x = 23

GEOMETRY. 20 POINTS. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE STUPID ANSWERS.
sp2606 [1]
Hey there!

A quadrilateral has 360 degrees. So add all the degrees together to 360. 9x+1+5x-12+8x+61+90=360. 90 degrees is in the bottom left corner. Combine like terms. 22x+140=360. Subtract 140 from each side. 22x=220. Divide 22 on each side to get x=10. Plug in 10 for x in angle D. 5(10)-12=38. The measure of angle D is 38 degrees.

I hope this helps!
