we are given

point-A= -7

point-B=8

(a)

opposite of point-A is negative of point-A value

so,

opposite of point-A is -(-7)

opposite of point-A is 7

opposite of point-B is negative of point-B value

so,

opposite of point-B is -8

opposite of point-B is -8

(b)

we can see that

opposite of point-A is 7

opposite of point-B is -8

they are not equal

so, this argument is FALSE.......Answer

Arthur has decided to start saving for a new computer. His money is currently in a piggy bank at home, modeled by the function s
Leya [2.2K]

Two or more independent functions (say f(x) and g(x)) can be combined to generate a new function (say g(x)) using any of the following approach.

h(x) = f(x) + g(x)         h(x) = f(x) - g(x)

h(x) = \frac{f(x)}{g(x)}                   h(x) = f(g(x))

And many more.

The approach or formula to use depends on the question.

In this case, the combined function is:

f(x) = 75+ 10x

The savings function is given as

s(x) = 85

The allowance function is given as:

a(x) = 10(x - 1)

The new function that combined his savings and his allowances is calculated as:

f(x) = s(x) + a(x)

Substitute values for s(x) and a(x)

f(x) = 85 + 10(x - 1)

Open bracket

f(x) = 85 + 10x - 10

Collect like terms

f(x) = 85  - 10+ 10x

f(x) = 75+ 10x

Kenneth Drew a scale drawing of an apartment the scale of the drawing was 2 meters:1 meter the living room is 6 m long in real l
atroni [7]

Answer:

3 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the scale drawing :

2m : 1m

Length of living room in real life = 6 m long

2 meter = 1 meter

Real life = scale drawing

If length = 6 meter long ;

using cross multiplication :

2 meter = 1 meter

6 meter = x

2x = 6

x = 6/2

x = 3 meter

Length of living room in drawing = 3 meters
