Answer:

The factors that determine how strongly a nation will persist with its territorial claims are the following:

-the power of the complaining nation, since being a powerful nation, its ability to obtain favorable responses will be greater given its political and economic weight in the world order.

-the power of the claimed nation, since given the greater power of the claimed nation, it will be more difficult to obtain positive resolutions, as a result of the disparity of powers between the two countries.

-the size and resources available in the claimed territory, since the larger the available resources, the greater the interest of the complaining countries.

-the will of the population belonging to the claimed territory often has an enormous impact on the outcome of the territorial conflict, since the inhabitants often decide between belonging to one or the other country.

*The Middle Ages are often referred to as the "Dark Ages". Discuss why you feel this is an appropriate or an inappropriate name
Nataly_w [17]

Answer: Appropiate

Explanation: "Dark Ages" is indeed appropiate because the religious people burnt down all the previous knowledge of Romans, such as mathematics, physics, philosophy, etc. All because they wanted everyone to follow "God" and their whole catholic church, so if people were to read all this knowledge, specially the philosophical and religious knowledge that Romans wrote, no one would've gone with the catholic church and believe it.
