9 seconds

i did this to solve:  I crossed multiplied this  \frac{85}{15} with \frac{51}{x}

so 15 x 51=765 divided by 85 = 9

All of the angles of a quadrilateral are congruent. Can the quadrilateral be a parallelogram? Explain.
professor190 [17]
It depends on the size of each angle. If a parallelogram has the same sizes of the quadrilateral then they could both be congruent.

Hope this helps! :D

Suppose f(x) is a function such that for some positive integer n, f has n linearly dependent derivatives. In other words, if f(x
Anon25 [30]

Answer:

See explaination for the prove of the statement.

Step-by-step explanation:

To establish this prove, lets refer back to what we already know.

We know that "If the set of reactions {d1,d2,d3,......dn} in a vector space V over a field f be linearly dependent, then atleast one of the vectors of the set can be expressed as a linear combination of the remaining others.

Please kindly go to attachment for a detailed step by step explaination of the prove.

A thumbtack that is tossed can land point up or point down. The probability of a tack landing point up is 0.2. A simulation was
sweet-ann [11.9K]

Answer:

Option C: 0.28

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a binomial probability distribution problem.

Now, we want to find the probability that at least 2 thumbtacks land pointing up when 5 thumbtacks are tossed. This is written as;

P(X ≥ 2) = P(2) + P(3) + P(4) + P(5)

From the histogram;

P(5) = 0.02

P(4) = 0.02

P(3) = 0.05

P(2) = 0.19

Thus;

P(X ≥ 2) = 0.19 + 0.05 + 0.02 + 0.02

P(X ≥ 2) = 0.28

If Pentagon ABCDE was dilated to create Pentagon A'B'C'DE', what rule was used?
svetlana [45]

Answer:

<em>B</em> (x,y) \rightarrow \left(\frac{5}{2}x,\frac{5}{2}y\right)

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Dilations</u>

Given a point A(x,y) and a scale factor k the dilated image of A, called A' is calculated as A'=(kx,ky), assuming the same scale factor is applied in both axes.

The pentagon ABCDE was dilated to create pentagon A'B'C'D'E'. To find the dilaton rule used, we must find two clear points where the coordinates of both axes can be easily read from the graph.

Point C(-2,0) maps to C'(-5,0). This gives us the scale factor for the x-axis of -5/(-2)= 5/2.

The y-coordinate of E is 2 and the y-coordinate of E' is 5. This gives us the same scale factor for the y-axis of 5/2.

Thus, the rule to dilate the pentagon is:

B \mathbf{(x,y) \rightarrow \left(\frac{5}{2}x,\frac{5}{2}y\right)}
