Kohlberg is the famous psychologist that had given the theory to to explain the different stages of the moral development. This theory is divided into three stages - preconventional, conventional and post conventional.
In this stage any action can be judged by the direct consequences of the action and is common among the children. This stage explain the egocentric manner of the individual. The individual like to receive rewards and learn about the moral behavior.
