Polar front jet stream
Tanya [424]

The polar jet stream expresses seasonal change. The change in the polar jet stream from summer to winter position causes cooler temperatures farther south and causes storms to move more rapidly. Option 4.

Jet Streams

 • A jet stream is a strong and narrow air stream concentrated along the horizontal axis in the troposphere.

 • The stream wide is about 200 km, and its thickness ranges between 5,000 and 7,000 m.

 • The strongest winds are in the central region of the stream, known as the jet core, with a speed of about 120 km/hour.

Types

 • There are five jet stream types.

 • Two polar streams ⇒ one of them in the northern hemisphere and the other one in the southern hemisphere.

 • Two subtropical streams ⇒ one of them in the northern hemisphere and the other one in the southern hemisphere.

Both of them are west streams. And the polar ones are stronger than the subtropical ones.

 • The tropical stream that comes from the east.

Polar Jet Stream

 • In the northern hemisphere, the polar jet stream affects mainly the Iberian peninsula.

 • It gets formed in the convergence region, where the cooler winds from the Pole and the warmer winds from the Equator meet.

 • This stream surrounds the Earth making several waves on its course.

 • It occurs a seasonal balance between the winter and summer

→ Winter ⇒ The polar jet stream places between 35 and 40º latitude.

→ Summer ⇒ The polar jet stream is placed at about 50º latitude.

Following this seasonal change, from summer to winter cooler air masses reach lower latitudes and might be the cause of severe winter storms.

According to this framework, we can assume that the change in the polar front jet stream from summer position to winter position causes cooler temperatures farther south and causes storms to move more rapidly.

The correct option is (4).

Irregular periods.
Hot flashes and sleep problems. Hot flashes are common during perimenopause. The intensity, length and frequency vary. Sleep problems are often due to hot flashes or night sweats, but sometimes sleep becomes unpredictable even without them
.Mood changes. Mood swings, irritability or increased risk of depression may happen during perimenopause. The cause of these symptoms may be sleep disruption associated with hot flashes. Mood changes may also be caused by factors not related to the hormonal changes of perimenopause.
Vaginal and bladder problems. When estrogen levels diminish, vaginal tissues may lose lubrication and elasticity, making intercourse painful. Low estrogen may also make vagina vulnerable to urinary or vaginal infections. Loss of tissue tone may contribute to urinary incontinence.
Decreasing fertility. As ovulation becomes irregular, the ability to conceive decreases.
Changes in sexual function. During perimenopause, sexual arousal and desire may change.
Loss of bone.

Which statement describes the condition of the heart at the point indicated in the electrocardiogram?
scoundrel [369]

The muscles of the ventricles depolarize.

What is the depolarization of the ventricles?

The auxiliary route (AP), which connects the atrial and ventricle directly and is, therefore, able to channel electrical impulses into the ventricle without via the AV-His Purkinje conduction system, is one of the mechanisms by which the ventricle depolarizes.

An electrocardiogram, often known as an ECG, is a test that aids in calculating and graphing the electrical activity of the heartbeat. Every time the heart beats, a wave or electrical impulse travels through the organ, causing the muscles to contract and the blood to be pumped from the heart's chambers. Ventricular Depolarization physically occurs in the heart with QRS Complex.
