I believe the answer is: Some social patterns are harmful to certain groups of people.
Socially conflict theorist operate on the basic belief that people in a society would always be engaged in conflict due to the competition to obtain limited resources. During the process, some group of people would be trapped in a social pattern that might prevent them from advancing in society.
Example of the pattern :
Being a single mother -> had little time to both taking care of kids and work at the same time -> The children become neglected -> The children engaged in risky behaviours without the parent noticing -> the children got pregnant in their teenage years and the cycle continues.
they were around the nile river so, they have fertile good soil, they produce food for themselves and sold too, they had walls round with a large wide road going through the city
