Conditional statement is a statement with a hypotesis and a conclusion:

If \text{ \underline{ hypothesis } } p, then \text{ \underline { conclusion }  } q

or mathematically p\rightarrow q.

Converse statement of p\rightarrow q is statement q\rightarrow p.

If you negate (that means stick a "not" in front of) both the hypothesis and conclusion, you get the inverse:

\neg p\rightarrow \neg q.

Finally, if you negate everything and flip p and q (taking the inverse of the converse) then you get the contrapositive:

\neg q\rightarrow \neg p.

Example:

1. Conditional statement: If I am sleeping, then I have closed eyes. (true)

2. Converse statement: If I have closed eyes, then I'm sleeping. (not necessarily true)

3. Inverse statement: If I'm not sleeping, then I haven't closed eyes. (not necessarily true)

4. Contrapositive statement: If I haven't closed eyes, then I'm not sleeping. (true)

Is the goal to simplify? You just need to multiply the exponents for each factor:

(2z^2)^(-3)
= 2^(-3) x z^(2 x -3)
= (1/2)^3 x z^(-6)
= (1/8) x (1/z)^6
= 1/(8z^6)

I need help I don’t understand
bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:

x=50

Step-by-step explanation:

A= 30+2x

B= x

Supplementary angles are angles that always add up to 180 degrees.

therefore, A + B=180 degrees

30 + 2x + x = 180: Now we solve

<em>30 + 3x =180 </em>

<em>subtract 30 from both sides</em>

3x=150

<em>divide by 3</em>

3x/3 = 150/3

x= 50

Which scenario is most likely the one shown on the graph
Ilya [14]
It displays a relationship between variable X and Y.
It introduces the relationship between two variables and is called correlation. Proportionality or variation is state of relationship or correlation between two variables It has two types: direct variation or proportion which states both variables are positively correlation. It is when both the variables increase or decrease together. On the contrary, indirect variation or proportion<span> indicates negative relationship or correlation. Elaborately, the opposite of what happens to direct variation. One increases with the other variables, you got it, decreases. </span>
