Your answer is

D.) A lot of famous people ride bikes

because of the definiton of extraneous, which is

[irrelavent or unrelated to the subject being dealt with]

A.) is relavent to the essay, because it is dealing with both bikes AND skateboards, and it is COMPARING the two

B.) is relavent, because kids and adults are seen using both, therefore this is COMPARING bikes and skateboards.

C.) is relavent, because it is telling us that bikes have 2 wheels while the skateboard has 4, thereby CONTRASTING them

D.) is irrelavent, because it is neither comparing of contrasting the two, it is just stating something that does not need to be in the essay.

Choose the best inference based on the following statement from a corporation president: “Our employees are the greatest resourc
Elanso [62]
The only thing the employer says is that the company's best resource is the employees. His statement has nothing to do with the EPA, nor has it anything to do with any environmental concern.

That eliminates d and a. His concern is not laziness. He wouldn't be praising his workers if he was. So B is now gone as well.

The only thing left is C. This is an inference question, so the right answer can be inferred. He's concerned about the well being of his employees.

Based on the stories, which of these seems to have been a common occurrence during the Great Depression?
malfutka [58]
The correct answer should be A. Investing in stocks. That's basically why the great depression happened in the first place. People were investing into stocks more and more but the companies were not doing so well so they couldn't return the money to investors. This lead to the whole stock market crashing and this in turn destroyed the banks and banks had to pull themselves out so they pulled the regular people in and the whole economic system collapsed.
