Without multiplying, determine the sign of the product (−468,256) × (−183,758).
notsponge [240]

Uh I think the sign would be positive because a negative times a negative is a positive. It is the same with a positive times a positive. But a positive times a negative would be a negative. This is because if its opposite signs then its a negative sign. If they are the same signs the sign is positive. Do you get what I am saying?

Please mark me Brainiest if this helped.

Have a good rest of your day/night.

Solve for x in 4x-4/x+4=10
Amiraneli [1.4K]

Answer:

-22/3 =x

Step-by-step explanation:

(4x-4) /(x+4) = 10

Multiply each side by (x+4)

(4x-4) /(x+4) * (x+4) = 10 * (x+4)

(4x-4) = 10 * (x+4)

Distribute

4x-4 = 10x+40

Subtract 4x from each side

4x-4-4x = 10-4x+40

-4 = 6x+40

subtract 40 from each side

-4 -40 = 6x+40-40

-44 = 6x

Divide each side by 6

-44/6 = -6x/6

-22/3 =x

Please Help!! If You Answer First (And It's Good) Then I'll Mark You Brainly! <3
Andrew [12]

To solve the food one you need to first multiply the pounds of peaches by the amount per pound (1.75 * 18.4) then when you have the total of that, add 2.89 for the price of the pineapple. Once that is complete you should have a total amount for all of the food, next you just divide that number by 4 and you'll have the amount of money each person paid.

As for the other question, to solve it all you need to do is add the total amount of pounds of trash team A has collected for both week 1, 2 and 3, then multiply it by 3 and you'll have your answer.
