The correct answer is False

Explanation:

A presentation is a communicative situation in which a speaker explains or speaks to a group of people (audience) about some situation or topic. Presentations can have different purposes (inform, narrate, explain or persuade) and can focus on almost any kind of topic. Additionally, it is common the organization of content in presentations varies according to the topic or speaker, but in general terms a presentations includes an introduction, in which the speaker introduces himself and the topic, a development of the topic and a conclusion or closure in which the speaker provides the final ideas of the topic and in some cases provide contact information in case the audience is interested in knowing more about the topic or the speaker itself.

However, this is not a common situation in most presentations and the speaker is only required to provide contact information in academic events or similar formal situations or this information can be provided at the beginning of the presentation. Thus, it is not true "you should always end your presentation by giving your contact information" because this type of information is not a must in all presentations and does not necessarily needs to be provided at the end.

“Whereäs” as an alternative spelling of “whereas”
ra1l [238]
Yes, it seems to be an alternative, in some situations acceptable, but eccentric and not neutral spelling of this word. It accents the fact that "ea" here are two separate vowels rather than a diphthong: that is the function of the  trema (the two dots).

In practice it's not used much, because it's not really necessary: it does not distinguish it from any other word, and trema is not easy to find on English keyboards: so there is no need.

Write a summary about a book
vodomira [7]

1984, by George Orwell is a perfect example that makes us reflect on what powerful and socialist governments do to stay in the power and to wipe out whoever that stands on the way.

The book mentions the history of Winston who lives in a country where the big brother watches everybody. Even inside of their houses, they are being observed all the time. People from that place teach their children to love the big brother and to hate the ones who are against the government. On the way, Winston meets Julia and later on they fell in love. They love each other in secret because that regime doesn’t allow romantic love among the citizens. With time, they decide to join the rebels who oppose the big brother; however, later on they are betrayed. They are sent to prison and tortured. At the end, they are not killed but they are shown that no one can oppose the big brother.

It is really sad that in many countries in this century many governments do not respect democracy and they torture and kill people.

Depression doesn’t mix well with darkness and laying in bed but it’s all I want to do I hate this world I don’t want to be so de
IceJOKER [234]

Answer: Perhaps it’s safe to say that most people want to be happy. They want to enjoy being here in this big, crazy, confusing world. But too many people struggle with being truly happy. They can’t seem to find happiness in life. To them, it is something that doesn’t just come naturally. Fortunately, there are plenty of strategies people can use to create happiness, or at least strive for it. It really depends on one’s desire always to feel joy, to feel gratitude even when it is difficult to find, to have the right people by the side, and an exciting job – or at least a hobby – that they feel good about doing, that somehow brings meaning, direction, and purpose into their lives. Happiness doesn’t happen out of anywhere – it has to be worked on; it has to be produced, created, discovered, built from the ground up. And it has to be a decision in one’s mind: the decision to be happy. The procedure is quite simple, believe it or not. One must have a conviction to be happy no matter what trouble life throws at them. Sometimes, life can undoubtedly disrupt a person’s happiness, getting in the way of them enjoying every day of it, with all the countless and never-ending mishaps and suffering. Happiness is a special feeling, something that comes to those who expect it and, therefore, deserve it. Having gratitude – the quality of being thankful; a readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness – is another way people of all cultures cultivate happiness. Instead of focusing their mental and spiritual energy on negative things, like bills, financial problems, health issues, happy people focus on being alive and not decrepit, having people to love and support them, waking up in the morning, having a purpose of pursuing, being able to breathe and think and eat and pray and love. They are grateful for anything and everything. Happy people make gratitude a daily habit, even a ritual.

Explanation: I really hope your day gets better think about the times that have made you happy. Go and teat yourself to something special BECAUSE  YOU DESERVE IT!!
