The perimeters of the triangles shown are equal.Find the side length of each triangle.
Anna11 [10]
I’m pretty sure you set the perimeters equal to each other, it would look like 3x+8+3x+7+3x = 3x+3x+4x+2 and then you add the similar ones so it would look like 9x+15 = 10x+2 then you subtract the two from both sides and subject the 9x from both sides and get 13 = x
AB would be 47
BC = 46
AC = 39
PQ = 39
QR = 39
PR = 54
then you could double check
47+46+39 = 39+39+54
132 = 132

On a two week job a repairman works a total of 70 hours. He charges 75$ plus 40$ per hour. An equation shows this relationship w
Viefleur [7K]

Answer:

Slope = 40

Step-by-step explanation:

Time spent = 70 hours(given)

Fixed charge = $75 (given)

x = Total number of hours (given)

Variable charge = $40 * Total number of hours.

Variable charge = $40x

Fee charged, y = Variable charge + Fixed charge

y = 40x + 75 ($)

The equation of a straight line is given as: y = mx + c

where m = slope

Comparing it with the equation above, m = 40

A number minus 12 is 20
Ivan

Answer:

32

Step-by-step explanation:

Adding 12 to 20 will give you the answer. To further describe it, if we make x the unknown number, the equation is:

x-12=20

then you can isolate x to get the unknown number

X : 7.5, 9.9, 4.8, 9, 8.1, 1.7, 3.1

Y : 35, 6, 45, 18, 20, 89, 84

The Correlation Coefficient obtained by using a graphing calculator to model the data above is : 0.9769, this means a strong positive correlation exists between the two variables.
