The three characteristics of science are objectivity, verfiablity and reliability.

  • Apart from the above characteristics of the science its objective and systematic exploration and is accurate and is abstract in nature. As regarding the advanced studies in the fields of the oceanographic sciences the earth has been studied in terms of the ocean circulation, fishery productivity and the oceanic process that have made it possible to understand the earth better.
  • <u>The discovery of the hydrothermal vents that were the earliest signs of the origin of the bacteria and the origin of the life forms on the planet is still verifiable and provides us with the reliable evidence of the existence of the pioneer species that got energy form the interiors of the planet.</u>
