The endosymbiotic theory explains that mitochondria and chloroplasts descended from the same type of bacteria. Symbiosis is an interaction between two organisms of different species, and <u>endo</u>symbiosis is a type of symbiosis in which one organism lives <u>inside </u>the other one. According to the endosymbiotic theory, a host cell ingested symbiotic bacteria, which specialized into mitochondria or chloroplasts. The evidence for this theory is that mitochondria and chloroplasts, like bacteria, have their own circular DNA. They also have their own transcriptional and translational machinery.

Explanation: The water cycle is also known as the hydrological cycle. It describes how water moves on, above, or just below the surface of our planet. Water molecules move between various locations - such as rivers, oceans and the atmosphere - by specific processes. Water can change state. Nitrogen compounds found in cells include proteins. Nitrogen from the air is converted into soluble ions that plant roots can absorb. It forms part of nitrogen compounds in the plants, and is then passed from one organism to the next. It is returned to the atmosphere as nitrogen gas. This is the nitrogen cycle. The carbon-oxygen cycle is the process by which plants use carbon dioxide for respiration during photosynthesis and produce oxygen. During this process, carbon dioxide becomes part of the plant, and when the plant dies in a carbon-rich state it is possible for it to become a fossil fuel.

<span>A diseases may be classified as either communicable or non-communicable. Communicable diseases are caused by pathogens who inhabit a host, man (I'm not saying man is the only host or man is necessarily the final host; there could be many host) who in turn passes the disease to another. Pathogens are viral, bacterial, parasitic and fungal. There are several stages before the pathogen metamorphoses into a full-blown disease. The stages in which several events happen builds up before the pathogen affects the final host is called a communicable disease chain. There are six stages ( Pathogen, reservoir, portal of ext, mode of transmission, portal of entry and susceptible host) in the communicable disease chain but the step a nurse shouod take is 1. Destroy the second link (Reservoir) by thoroughly sanitizing the environment. Obviously, this is where the Pathogens live. If the reservoir is taken care of; there's no way they could infect the host.</span>
