How does the mass of Venus compare to the mass of the Earth? (site 1)
GREYUIT [131]

Here's what I found:

Both are similar in size, mass, density, and volume. However, during the last few years scientists have found that the kinship ends here. In fact, other than those similarities, Venus is very different from Earth. It has no oceans and is surrounded by a heavy atmosphere composed mainly of carbon dioxide with virtually no water vapor. Its clouds are composed of sulfuric acid droplets. At the surface, the atmospheric pressure is 92 times that of the Earth's at sea-level.

Hope this helps!

Item 8
Alecsey [184]

Answer:

D) found in a limited time span

Explanation:

Index fossils are the remains of living organisms for which we have already established relative age. These are fossils that only existed during a limited period of geologic time and are easily identified, found in large volumes, and found in many different locations around Earth. Due to these factors, index fossils may be used as a guide for comparison in determining the relative age of an unknown object.

What effects does time have on bacterial cells?
Eddi Din [679]

Explanation:

With time bacteria cells increase in number, exponentially. This means with each generation, the population doubles. An example is that if initially there were 2 bacteria, they become 4, then 16, then 32, then 64, 128, then 256...etcetera.  Remember bacteria can double their population in very short times. E. Coli cells double in the lab in 15 – 20 minutes.

However, bacteria are also subject to limiting factors that do not allow their cells to double indefinitely, resources such as space and nutrients limiting growth rates for bacteria especially when their numbers exceed the carrying capacity of their environment.
