First, distribute to cancel out brackets
= m-n+p-2m+2p-3n-n+m-2p

Collect like terms
= -5n+p

Your answer: -5n + p

the growth of a bacteria each hour is given by the function f(x)= 5500(1.65)^x. At what percent are the bacteria growing each ho
sertanlavr [38]
The growth function per hour is
f(x) = 5500(1.65)ˣ

To find the growth rate per hour, we should find the derivative of f(x).
Take the natural log of the equation.
ln(f) = ln[5500(1.65)ˣ]
      = ln(5500) + x ln(1.65)

Take the derivative with respect to x.
f'/f = ln(1.65) = 0.5
Therefore the derivative is
f' = 0.5f
   = 2750(1.65)ˣ
   = 275000(1.65)ˣ percent or 2.75 x 10⁵ (1.65)ˣ percent

Answer:
f^{'} \equiv \frac{df}{dx}=2.75\times10^{5}(1.65)^{x}\,percent

Find the graph of y=-3/4X-2
morpeh [17]
To graph the line y=- \frac{3}{4}x-2 we are going to take advantage of the fact that its y-intercept is -2 when x=0, so our first point is (0,-2). To find our second point, we are going to find the x-intercept; to do it, we are going to set y=0 and solve for x:
y=- \frac{3}{4}x-2
0=- \frac{3}{4}x-2
2=- \frac{3}{4}x
x= \frac{2}{- \frac{3}{4} }
x=- \frac{8}{3}
Now that we have our second point (0,- \frac{8}{3} ), we just need to join our two points with a straight line.

We can conclude that the graph of <span>y=-3/4X-2 is:</span>

Find the value of x so that the polygons have the same perimeter.
Novosadov [1.4K]

Answer: x=4

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter´s formula for this kind of polygons is

The triangle perimeter would be:

(x+2)+(x+3)+(x+3)

And the rectangle:

(x+2)+(x+2)+x+x

For them to have the same value, we should equal them:

(x+2)+(x+3)+(x+3)=(x+2)+(x+2)+x+x

Working with this:

3x+8=4x+4

x=4
