Answer:

(a) a= \frac{F}{m}

(b) a = \frac{1}{5} units.

(c) m = 10 units

Step-by-step explanation:

Force (F), mass (m) and acceleration (a) are related by the equation F = ma.

(a) We have to solve this equation for a.

So, F = ma ........ (1)

⇒ a= \frac{F}{m} ..... (2) (Answer)

(b) If F = 1 units and m = 5 units, then from equation (1), we get

a = \frac{1}{5} units. (Answer)

(c) If F = 25 units and a = 2.5 units.

Then from equation (1), we get,

m = \frac{F}{a} = \frac{25}{2.5} =10 units. (Answer)

Enter the equivalent expression of (−87.9m + 35.1n) + (64m + 86n) in standard form
Gekata [30.6K]

Answer:

Thus, the equivalent expression in standard form is:

⇒ -23.9m+121.1n

Step-by-step explanation:

Given expression:

(-87.9m+35.1n)+(64m+86n)

To give the equivalent expression in standard form.

Solution:

In order to find the equivalent expression in standard form we will simplify the expression.

We have:

(-87.9m+35.1n)+(64m+86n)

Simplifying by removing parenthesis.

⇒ -87.9m + 35.1n+ 64m + 86n

Combining like terms.

⇒ -87.9m+64m + 35.1n + 86n

⇒ -23.9m+121.1n

Thus, the equivalent expression in standard form is:

⇒ -23.9m+121.1n

Answer:

-4 x

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve this question we have to distribute 6 and 10. This is now our equation....

6x-10x

Now, we solve...

6x - 10x = -4 x...

Hope this Helps!!! :)

In which quadrant would the vertex of f(x+ 3) + 2 be located?
klasskru [66]

Answer:

QII

Step-by-step explanation:

I'm thinking that this is supposed to be a quadratic and you forgot the ^2 at the end of the (x + 3).  IF this is the case, then the vertex form of a quadratic is

y=(x-h)^2+k where the h inside the parenthesis with the x- indicates side to side movement and the k indicates up and down movement.  Both translations begin at the origin, of course.  The important thing to remember here is that the form "x -" is constant.  So if our quadratic reflects "x - 3", then it is understood to be "x - (3)" and the movement is 3 units to the right.  If the quadratic reflects "x + 3", then it is understood to be "x - (-3)" and the movement is 3 units to the left.  Our quadratic, then, is shifted 3 units to the left of the origin and up 2 units, putting us in QII.

If this is what it appears to be, (x + 3) + 2, then it is x + 5 which is a line that has no vertex (which is why I'm thinking it must be a mistyped quadratic!)
