Do you think that government representatives truly represent the people or are they more interested in taking care of themselves
Marizza181 [45]

Answer:

In my opinions, management agents to some degree serve people of the land, because if they don't do so, they can not remain in administration or be a part of the management. People wouldn't recommend them. And to some measure, they regard for themselves, their friends and patrons. But they can not go beyond the limit because sometimes it involves country interest too. When there is a country interest, the constitution does not allow them to think about anything else other than the State interest or national interest.

"For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us...."
neonofarm [45]

The line on quartering soldiers was included because Parliament had previously punished colonists for throwing over 300 chests of tea into Boston Harbor.

Why did the British transfer soldiers to the American colonies?

The American Colonies had decided to show the British that they were not happy with the recent taxation bills and so threw over 300 chests of tea into Boston Harbor.

The British responded with more punitive measures and sent their army to enforce it. This army as to be quartered with the Colonists and fed by them.
