Answer:

C). Foreshadowing.

Explanation:

Suspense plays a vital role in captivating the audience's interest, attention, and inquisitiveness that assists in evoking the desired response from them. The chief aim of employing such a technique(that has its various forms like dramatic irony, flashback, special effects, etc.) is to intensify the situation through a sudden turn of events and leaving the audience uncertain that what would happen next in the plot.

In the given passage, 'foreshadowing' is the kind of suspense technique that has been employed by the screenwriter to elevate the curiosity of the audience and keeping their interest intact till end. 'Foreshadowing' involves the indication, reflection or a kind of warning of the unexpected upcoming event that leaves the readers tensed and guessing what would happen forth. In the given example, <u>the 'ticking clocks' indicates the unanticipated future events in which 'Doc Brown finds himself...perilously far above a massive clock tower'</u>. Thus, <u>option C</u> is the correct answer.

The definition of narrative is a piece of writing that tells a story, and it is one of four classical rhetorical modes or ways that writers use to present information. The others include an exposition, which explains and analyzes an idea or set of ideas; an argument, which attempts to persuade the reader to a particular point of view; and a description, a written form of a visual experience.

Compose a seven to nine sentence response to the prompt: How would you compare Zimbardo’s argument that situations cause people
8_murik_8 [283]

In the first text, Zimbardo argues that people are neither "good" or "bad." Zimbardo's main claim is that the line between good and evil is movable, and that anyone can cross over under the right circumstances. He tells us that:

"That line between good and evil is permeable. Any of us can move across it....I argue that we all have the capacity for love and evil--to be Mother Theresa, to be Hitler or Saddam Hussein. It's the situation that brings that out."

Zimbardo argues that people can move across this line due to phenomena such as deindividualization, anonymity of place, dehumanization, role-playing and social modeling, moral disengagement and group conformity.

On the other hand, Nietzsche in "Morality as Anti-Nature" also argues that all men are capable of good and evil, and that evil is therefore a "natural" part of people. However, his opinion is different from Zimbardo in the sense that Nietzsche believes that judging people as "good" and "bad" is pointless because morality is anti-natural, and we have no good reason to believe that our behaviour should be modified to fit these precepts.
