Answer:Do not use a red light at night, it has been proved that Bearded Dragons can see this and can disturb their sleep, Under tank heaters should not be used as a Beardie can only feel the heat from above, a low wattage ceramic heat emitters are best If your basking lights and low-end temps are correct during the day

Which of the following is a correct difference between active transport and facilitated diffusion?
sweet-ann [11.9K]

Answer:

Active transport requires energy from ATP while facilitated diffusion does not

Explanation:

Active transport and facilitated diffusion with the use of channel and carrier proteins are both ways by which ions, polar and large molecules cross a selectively permeable membrane.

The major difference is that; Active transport transport these particles from a low to high concentration, which is against concentration gradient and hence, energy is required to perform the task

Facilitated diffusion transport from a high to low concentration, which is through a concentration gradient and hence, no energy is required to perform the task.

Explain why it makes sense that sperm and egg cells have 1/2 the amount of chromosomes than a normal cell that is not involved i
Hoochie [10]

Answer:

The sperm and egg have 1/2 the amount because when the sperm fertilizes the egg, it equals out to the regular amount of chromosomes. That is why we have half chromosomes from our dad and half chromosomes from our mom, equaling out to normal amount of chromosomes.
