There are really only 2 possible outcomes when flipping a coin: it lands heads up or tails up. So, if all possible outcomes' probability equals 100%, we can assume both are 50% likely.
Because of this, the theoretical probability that the coin will land tails up is 50%
Additionally, if 50% (or 1/2) of 250 people win (by landing tails up), you can simply divide by 2 to get that number of people: 125

Hope this helps :)

Answer:

The expression is half the value of (10 + 12)

Step-by-step explanation:

We see the top part is 10 + 12

The whole thing is a fraction and 2 is in the denominator

You divide your term by your denominator, and diving by 2 is the same as 1/2 if a term.

What is quartile 1 (Q1)quartile 3 (Q3) and the IQR? Answer all three parts . 13, 23, 24, 25, 26, 26, 37, 47, 47, 48, 50
Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

Quartile 1 (Q1) = 24

Quartile 2 (Q2) = 47

IQR = 23

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

The set of data are:

13, 23, 24, 25, 26, 26, 37, 47, 47, 48, 50

The data are in increasing order. The number terms are, n = 11.

Therefore, the middle term = \frac{n+1}{2}=\frac{11+1}{2}=6^{th}\ term

So, the median = 26

Now, the median divides the set of data into two parts. The median of first part is the quartile 1 and the median of second part is quartile 2.

So, the first part has the following terms:

13, 23, 24, 25, 26

Here also, n=5. So, the third term is the median.

∴ Q1 = 24

The second part has the following terms:

37, 47, 47, 48, 50

Here also, n=5. So, the third term is the median.

∴ Q2 = 47.

Now, IQR = Q2 - Q1 = 47 - 24 = 23.

Step-by-step explanation:

When you are paid for the number of pieces you make any logical person would re-organize themselves to make sure they produce the most number of pieces.

In a situation like this one of the most important things that will be affected is the quality of the product. Most often people will produce products with low quality to produce more units.
