How is carbon removed from the atmosphere

Carbon is removed from the atmosphere cause of plants because of the photosynthetic conversion of carbon dioxide in to carbohydrates.

Carbon enter that atmosphere by respiration of animals, volcanic eruptions, combustion of organic materials, and the decay of plant matter.
