PRL means preferred roaming list. Sometimes out of your own local network phones having problem to connect with the networks because of outer range. At that moment you need to change the PRL and put your mobile in roaming option.

This will help your mobile to connect with the tower. This PRL option can be found in your SETTINGS options where other generalized options of your profile settings remains.

Explanation:

We need to change the settings of our mobile phone for uninterrupted use out of our own network coverage area. PRL refers to the preferred roaming list. Roaming though consume extra data and much battery. But we don't have any other option rather than opting it.

In the SETTINGS option we get roaming bar where we need to on it out of our coverage area. It will cause much data consumption. But network speed will remain same and will provide good service if there is no other technical issues regarding the network.
