Although the answer to this question is not completely clear, it is likely that Asia made more contributions to society than those of Africa. This is mainly because of the existence of China and India. These two regions saw the rise of some of the most advanced empires in the world. In the case of India, the subcontinent has given us knowledge such as the concept of zero, trigonometry and the decimal system. China gave the world technology such as gunpowder, paper and the compass.

How does the cause-and-effect structure support Tuchman’s viewpoint that the new illusion of omnipotence must also be shattered?
LUCKY_DIMON [66]
It shows that the war resulted in a new illusion of omnipotence."In April 1917 the illusion of isolation was destroyed, America came to the end of innocence, and of the exuberant freedom of bachelor independence. That the responsibilities of world power have not made us happier is no surprise. To help ourselves manage them, we have replaced the illusion of isolation with a new illusion of omnipotence" Barbara Tuchman
