Social Studies

A developing country might only have primary and secondary economic activities because the economy is not developed enough to engage in other levels of economic activities. Primary activities are the extraction or cultivation of natural resources and secondary activities are the manufacturing of finished goods. A developing economy may have only reached development of these sectors because of inefficiencies and weaknesses in the economy that it has not overcome through development yet.

The conflict perspective explains deviance in terms of power and inequality. Please select the best answer from the choices prov
iren [92.7K]

Answer: True.

Explanation:

Conflict theory states that the underlying causes of deviant behaviors are the social and economic forces that allocate power and inequality within society. In this theory, deviant behaviors are activities not accepted by social institutions, that spark conflict. Since power and inequality define the socioeconomic circumstances of separate classes, the legal rights of lower classes might be neglected, while the middle-class team up with the high classes instead of the poor.
