Answer:

<em>Option B.</em>

Explanation:

The meaning of the concept <em>"predominate" </em>is the action to exert or have controlling power, to appear more noticeable or imposing than something or someone else. when the phrase given in the question states that in other countries, one religious group may predominate, thus making it nearly impossible for other of different beliefs to exist openly, the term predominate states that the mentioned religious group exerts influence and controlling power over the society, making it difficult for different religious groups to come to surface and coexist.

Answer:

The best meaning for predominate is letter C) have more power.

Explanation:

To dominate means to have power, to rule or govern over people or land. The prefix pre- means "before". Thus, being predominant, or predominating, would literally mean something or someone has had power since earlier in time.

With time, the word has come to mean "to be the stronger element" or "to have numerical superiority". Therefore, when the sentence claims that one religious group predominates, it means that this one group has more power than others, has more followers or members.

ICE Princess25 [194]

I believe the correct answer is... A claim may be either debatable or factual, depending on the author

because in arguementive essays we state our claim and prevent facts to support our arguement. It definetly is not always true think of when you say "well Tasha claims that sarah hit her" sarcastically inferring it may not be true but it is what she said or believes.

Imagine there was a train accident near your colony and describe the scene of the accident and what you did to help the injured.
Kaylis [27]

The train had minorly derailed and the people were frantic. Voices seemed to echo through our little town. Some in concern, others in pain. With the limited first-aid that I knew, I wanted to help. It didn't take long for me to find the first injured person. It was a rather small cut on their head and they were quite accepting of treatment. I hesitantly climbed into the train after everyone had seemed to stop hustling out.

"Hello?" I called out, my eyes scanning the carriage as I checked for any remaining passengers. After a few minutes of searching, with some of my friends doing the other compartments, we concluded that everybody had gotten off.

The conductor followed me out, cursing heavily as he told me about how his schedule had been thrown off. "So had your train." I reminded him carefully, gesturing to all the people. He nodded in agreement.
