A straight line has the same gradient all along its length. The gradient equals vertical rise over horizontal distance. It does not matter which triangle you use.
For large triangle it equals 2/8 or 1/4 for smaller one.  Both equal 1/4 (last statement)

Jon and Becky measured the circle-shaped part of a sun they drew on the sidewalk.
PIT_PIT [208]

Answer:  The approximate area of the circle is:  <span>3,629.84 cm² .</span>
______________________________________________________
Area of a circle, "A" :  A = π * r² ;

  in which: A = Area of circle ;
               π <span>≈ 3.14 ;
</span>               r = radius;

radius of a circle, "r" = d / 2  ;  in which:  "d = diameter" ;

Given "d = 64 cm " ;

                       r = d / 2 = 64 cm / 2 = 32 cm ;
____________________________________________
   So;    A = π * r²  ;

            A ≈ (3.14) * (32 cm)² ;

            A ≈ (3.14) * (1156 cm²) ;
_____________________________________________

            A  ≈  3,629 .84 cm²  .

Julio and his friend ordered five pizzas they know that 1/3 of a pizza will serve one person how many servings are there? Please
Ket [755]
Okay, so if 1/3 of a pizza is a serving, you would have to know that 1 pizza contains 3 servings.

Multiply 5*3 for your answer.

5*3= 15

That is 15 servings.

I hope this helped you!

Brainliest answer would be appreciated!

Please help!!! If the first 4 terms of a geometric sequence are...
tigry1 [53]

Answer:

c.) aₙ = 5 × 4ⁿ⁻¹

Explanation:

Geometric sequence: aₙ = a(r)ⁿ⁻¹

where 'a' resembles first term of a sequence, 'r' is the common difference.

Here sequence: 5, 20, 80, 320,...

First term (a) = 5

Common difference (d) = second term ÷ first term = 20 ÷ 5 = 4

Hence putting into equation: aₙ = 5(4)ⁿ⁻¹

Train X is traveling at a constant speed of 30 miles per hour and Train Y is traveling at a constant speed of 40 miles per hour.
topjm [15]

Answer:

3.5 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed of train X=30 mph

Speed of train Y=40  mph

Relative speed When the two trains travelling in same direction

Relative speed=40-30=10 mph

Total distance =25+10=35 miles

We have to find the time when train Y is 10 miles ahead of train X.

We know that

Time=\frac{Distance}{Relative\;speed}

Using the formula

Then, we get

Time=\frac{35}{10}=3.5 hours

Hence, it will be 3.5 hours until train Y is 10 miles ahead of train X.
