Answer:

My answer is D) 12m

This is because half of the court is 14.25m and half of that is 7.1 m. That is where the free throw line is. But the basket is 3 meters tall. So.. the logical math doesn't really add up. So I would also choose C).

Thats all i can do i cant give you the exact answer but i can narrow it down 50/50. Unless i'm completely wrong. Sorry.

Step-by-step explanation:

P.S. since i didn't tell the exact answer, my response will probably be deleted soon.

Answer:

  A)  5 m

Step-by-step explanation:

No ball is shown in the diagram. We assume that the distance of interest is the hypotenuse of a right triangle with legs 3 m and 4 m. Your knowledge of the 3-4-5 Pythagorean triple tells you the hypotenuse is 5 m.

___

If you actually need to use the Pythagorean theorem equation, you are looking for "c" where a=4 and b=3:

  c² = a² + b²

  c² = 4² + 3² = 16 +9 = 25

  c = √25 = 5

The straight-line distance is 5 meters.

Inga [223]

Answer: 22

Step-by-step explanation:

She sold two tubs of Oatmeal Raisins and it's 6 dollars a tub so we can do 6*2 or 6+6 (doesn't matter). We get $12. Then, she also sells 2 tubs of Peanut Butter, and since it's $5 a tub, then we do 5*2 or 5+5 to get 10. We add 12 and 10 (12+10) and get 22.

I'm not sure if this is right because you added $22, $24, $20, and $11 and I'm not sure what the purposes of those are.

The length of a quarter is 0.953 inch. round the length of a quarter to the nearest tenth of an inch
liraira [26]

Answer:

1 inch

Step-by-step explanation:

The 9 is in the tenths place so you look to the hundredths place and if the number is greater than or equal to 5 then the 9 can round up.

The hundredths place is 5 so the 9 rounds up and since it can not round up in the tenths place you put the rounding in the front so the answer is 1 inch.
