The actual volumes of soda in quart-sized bottles can be described by a Normal model with a mean of 32.3 fluid ounces and a stan

Answer:The percentage of bottles expected to have a volume less than 32 or is 40.13%

Step-by-step explanation: The volumes of soda in quart soda bottles can be represented by a Nomal model with a= 32.3 oz

b=1.2 oz

Let S be the volume of randomly selected soda bottles

Y-score: S-a/b

For S=32 oz

Substitute the values of S,a and b into the equation

Y=32-32.3/1.2

Y=-0.25

Probability of bottles that have a volume less than 32 oz is

P(S<32)=P(Y<-025)= 0.40129

Percentage of bottles that have volume less than 32 oz will be

0.40127×100%=40.13%

The Amazon rainforest is gradually being destroyed by pollution and agricultural and industrial development. For simplicity, suppose that each year, 10% of the remaining forest is destroyed. Assume, also for simplicity, that the present area of the Amazon rainforest is 1,200,000 square miles.
1.a) What will the area of the forest be after 1 year of this destruction process?
1.b) What will the area of the forest be after 2 years of this destruction process?
2) Make a graph showing your results from Question 1 and continuing through 5 years of the destruction process. Include the present situation as a point on your graph.
3) Find a rule for how much rain forest will remain after X years. That is, express the area of the rain forest as a function of X.

Please Help! 25 Points!
Leno4ka [110]
Since you're going towards the left you can say that your answer is getting "more" negative for the first coordinate. As such you want your answer to be less negative than -21, also the second coordinate seems to be getting "less negative" as such anything less than -9 should not be an option. Lastly the difference between the two points for the first coordinates is 5, more specifically you are subtracting 5 to the first coordinate and for the second coordinate you are adding 3. Following this patter we say that the answer is
- 21 - 5 =  - 26 \\  - 9 + 4 =  - 5
and so, the answer is B (-26,-5)
