Answer:

The answer is: Because nearsighted people look good up close, and hyper meters look good from far away.

Explanation:

A normal human eye produces sharp images of objects between approximately 25 cm and infinity.

People with myopia look good from near and bad from far. For a nearsighted person, nearby objects are focused, while objects beyond the far point are blurred.

People with farsightedness see bad from near and well from far. The near point for a hypermetropic if it is much farther from the eye than the normal person from the near point.

The answer is: Because nearsighted people look good up close, and hyper meters look good from far away.

The eye works like a lens. Every lens has a focus point. If it's a converging lens, it converges light onto the focus point. If you put a screen at that point, the image formed will be as clear as it could get. If you move the screen a bit closer or farther it will gradually blurr. Same with moving the light source. In fact, when an image is blurry, that &;single point&is spread across the z direction. However, in the case of the human eye, the light source is the observed object therefor the retina is the screen itself. When a person with myopia looks at a far object, the focus point is off the retina so the image is blurry. However, when that person looks at a near object, the light source has become closer, so the focus point is closer to the retina and the image looks clear, but keep in mind, the image is not 100% clear because the focus point is not located exactly on the retina.

How do stabilizing and disruptive selection differ? see section 23.3 (page 463) . view available hint(s) how do stabilizing and
Contact [7]
The correct answer is stabilizing selection reduces the amount of variation in a trait. disruptive selection increases the amount of variation in a trait.

Stabilizing selection is a type of natural selection in which genetic diversity decreases because natural selection favours an average phenotype and selects against extreme variations.

Disruptive selection is a type of natural selection in which extreme values for a trait are favoured over intermediate values, thus it increases genetic variance.
