1 1/6 times 4 2/3.

To do questions like these (questions with mixed fractions), we would have to take those mixed fractions and turn them into an improper fraction.

First fraction: 1 1/6

To turn that first fraction into an improper fraction, we would have to multiply the whole number with the denominator and then add the numerator.

First fraction: 6*1+1   /6=7/6

Second fraction: 4 2/3

Second Fraction: 4*3+2  /3= 14/3

Now we multiply the two fractions together.

7/6 × 14/3= 98/18

Simplify the fraction.

5 4/9

Alissa is analyzing an exponential growth function that has been reflected across the y-axis. She states that the domain of the
marysya [2.9K]

Answer:

Consider the exponential function

y=Ae^x

                     -----------(1)

and when it is reflected across y axis , it's equation becomes

y=Ae^{-x}

                --------------------------(2)

As, domain of a function is defined as the set of all values of x , for which y is defined.

So, for function 1,  domain is set of all real numbers.That is , x∈[-∞ ,∞]

And for function 2, which is reflection of function 1, it's domain will also be set of all real numbers.That is , x ∈ [-∞, ∞]

So, Simon is correct between Alissa and himself, as he is saying if an exponential function is reflected across the y-axis, the domain will still be all real numbers is true statement.

on her scuba diving trip shana is able to dive 15 feet per minute she enters the water at 10:57 am what will her depth be at 11:
Tems11 [23]

Answer:

120 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

First, you should decipher how many minutes have passed by 10:57-11:05 AM. When you count up to 11:05 AM starting from 10:57 AM, you should get 8, meaning 8 minutes have passed by.

After that, you should multiply the minutes by how many feet Shana can dive per minute. 15 (feet per minute) multiplied by 8 (minutes) equals 120.

In 8 minutes her depth will 120 ft.
