Answer: 10, 12, and 14

Step-by-step explanation: When we look at consecutive numbers we usually think of numbers that are right next to each other. If we are talking about odd numbers, then we will obviously be skipping the even numbers. To find the consecutive odd numbers that have a sum of 36, we don't know where to start so we need to start with a variable.

In this problem, let's use "X" as our variable.

the next thing we need to think of is what will be our next consecutive odd number. If the random odd number we put is X then if we want to find our next consecutive odd number we would be adding 2 and to represent that algebraically we would have X + 2. Our last integer we will have to add 2 again if we have X + 2 we have to add 2 again so we will have X + 4.

Since we are talking about the sum, we can rewrite our equation.

X + X + 2 + X + 4 = 36

Since we have 3Xs on the same side, we can combine them. We can also combine the 4 and the 2 since they are on the same side.

3x + 6 = 36

      -6    -6     ← subtract 6 on both sides

3x = 30

÷3    ÷3     ← divide both sides by 3

X = 10

X + 2 = 12

X + 4 = 14

Therefore, our three consecutive odd numbers are 10, 12, and 14.

Surveys were sent to a random sample of owners of all-wheel-drive (AWD) vehicles and to a random sample of owners of front-wheel
salantis [7]

Answer:

No, the confidence interval does not provide evidence that this belief is plausible as the confidence interval range contains the null value (0)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the confidence interval for the mean difference of AWD and FWD vehicles is :

(−0.01,0.12)

When defining the hypothesis for mean difference :

H0 : μ1 - μ2 = 0

H1 : μ1 - μ2 ≠ 0

Using the confidence interval result, reject the Null if the confidence interval value at the given α - level does not contain 0 ; otherwise fail to reject the Null ;

Since the (−0.01,0.12) contains 0 ; then we fail to reject the Null and conclude that there is no statistically significant difference between the two groups

Factor the GCF: 12a3b + 8a2b2 − 20ab3
Harrizon [31]
12a^3b + 8a^2b^2 − 20ab^3

12a^3b = 4ab(3a^2)
8a^2b^2 = 4ab(2ab)
20ab^3 = 4ab(5b^2)

GCF = 4ab

12a3b + 8a2b2 − 20ab3 = 4ab(3a^2 + 2ab - 5b^2)

The area of a rectangular glass slab is 80 square centimeters and its perimeter is 36 centimeters. If the length and width of th
netineya [11]

First, you have to find out the values of the length and width.

Let l = length and w = width.

Set up your equation for area: l * w = 80

Set up your equation for perimeter: 2l + 2w = 36

We can use substitution for this problem, so find out the value of l or w. In this case, I will use the first equation to find out the value of l.

(Divide w on both sides) l = 80 / w

Since I know that l = 80 / w, I can substitute it into the second equation.

2l + 2w = 36, and l = 80 / w

= 2 (80/w) + 2w = 36

Simplify the equation.

= 160/w + 2w = 36

Get rid of the w in the denominator by multiplying the entire equation by w.

= ( 160/w + 2w = 36 ) * w

= 160 + 2w^{2} = 36w

= 2 ( w - 8 ) ( w - 10 )

The solutions for width (w) is 8 or 10. Then, you can use both 8 and 10 as your length and width, either or is fine. Multiply by 4 for each of those values and you get 8 x 4 = 32 and 10 x 4 = 40. The new perimeter would be 2(32) + 2(40) =
