A. Constant of proportionality in this proportional relationship is; k=5

B. Equation to represent this proportional relationship is : c=t/k

Step-by-step explanation:

A.Given that : the amount she pays each month for international text messages is proportional to the number of international texts she sends, then

$3.20 k = 16  ---------where k is the constant of proportionality

k= 16/3.20 =5

k=5

B. Let c be the cost of sending the texts per month and t be the number of texts sent per month , so

c=t/k

c=t/5 ---------- is the proportionality relationship.

For t=16 , c= 16/5 =$3.20

What is the value of x?
Usimov [2.4K]

Answer:

All angles in a triangle sum up to 180 degrees.

So, 63+71+x=180 degrees.

You add like terms: 134, and then add x.

134+x=180 degrees.

Minus x from both sides.

180-134=x.

What do you think x is?

PLEASEEEE HELLLPPPP COMPARING EXPONENTIAL FUNCTIONS ...an online retailer developed two exponential functions to model the weekl
Tamiku [17]

Answer:

  A.  The weekly usage of both coupons is decreasing and approaching a horizontal asymptote as x gets larger.

Step-by-step explanation:

You can see that f(x) is a decreasing exponential function because the base is 0.75, a value less than 1. The horizontal asymptote is 10, the constant added to the exponential term.

Obviously, g(x) is decreasing. If we assume it is an exponential function, we know there is a horizontal asymptote. (Every exponential function has a horizontal asymptote.)

__

If you use your graphing calculator's exponential regression function, you can find a good model for g(x) is ...

  g(x) = 950·0.7^x +12

That is, it is an exponential function that decays faster than f(x), but has a higher horizontal asymptote.

_____

Both functions are decreasing and approaching horizontal asymptotes.

The coefficient is a number that is placed in front of the variable for which It is being multiplied to. In this case it would be 5.

Constants are values that can be thought of as the opposite of coefficients in that they do not have any other variables or letters and thus they include only a number.

Their value does not change.
