Why is this a new policy for the Cubans in the book refugee
julia-pushkina [17]

Answer:

After the Cuban revolution led by Fidel Castro in 1959, a Cuban exodus began as the new government allied itself with the Soviet Union and began to introduce communism. From 1960 to 1979, tens of thousands of Cubans left Cuba, with the vast majority coming from Cuba's educated, landowning upper class.

Write an essay Prompt:Do people have to be competitive in order to succeed?
Paraphin [41]

Answer:

Yes, people keep improving ability to be competitive in order to survive in the sever competition of the society. But does success really require us to be competitive? I don¡¯t think so. People who are not competitive but eager to contribute themselves to society can succeed too. We don¡¯t have to be competitive in order to succeed. People are required to be highly competitive to rise above everyone to succeed. The law of natural selection derives from the central idea that only the “fittest survive”

Choose four key events that best capture the plot of the story . Write a summary of the story based on these four events . About
Tamiku [17]

Answer and Explanation:

The four events that best capture the plot of the story can be:

1. A stranger comes to a family home.

2. The stranger is invited in by the mother.

3. He begins to behave oddly.

4. The father and the mother are shaken by the visit.

The summary is as follows, based on the four events above:

One evening, a stranger rings the bell of a family house. He claims that he used to live in that very house when he was a child. The father is the one who answers the door, and he gives the man permission to look around the yard. The mother, however, out of sympathy, decides to invite the stranger in so that he can take a look inside the house.

As soon as he comes in, the man begins to behave more and more oddly while reminiscing. His words and actions begin to make the parents uncomfortable. Some of his sentences are cut in half, and many imply he was victim of some sort of domestic abuse. At some point, it is even possible to infer that this man is in fact dead. He is a ghost who has come to revisit the place where he suffered so much.

Finally, the father decides it is time for the stranger to go. He and his wife are shaken by the visit, to the point of being angry at each other. The mother tries to blame the father, saying she was not the one who answered the door.
