Answer:

Explanation:

Neural pathways, comprised of neurons connected by dendrites, are created in the brain based on our habits and behaviors. ... As patients participate in new activities, they are training their brains to create new neural pathways. The pathways get stronger with repetition until the behavior is the new normal.A neural pathway connects one part of the nervous system to another using bundles of axons called tracts. The optic tract that extends from the optic nerve is an example of a neural pathway because it connects the eye to the brain; additional pathways within the brain connect to the visual cortex.

You are hiking along a trail in the woods when you spot a bear that was behind a nearby tree. Immediately, your heart is racing,
scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

The flight or fight reaction.

Explanation:

The nervous system and hormonal system of the body work together to maintain the normal physiology and homeostasis of the body. The body can bring some internal changes depending on the external situation.

The fight and flight condition of the body may arise in case of any frightened situation. On seeing the bear, the body's fight and flight mechanism starts to cope with the situation. The epinephrine hormone brings changes via activating the autonomic nervous system of the body. The heart beat fast, pupils dilated and the blood flow increases in the body.

Thus, the answer is flight or fight reaction.

Name the two types of twins and describe how they are formed.
Alexxx [7]
There are conjoined twins which are formed, a single egg develops into 1 baby. Sometimes a single egg divides in half 1 to 2 weeks after it's fertilized. This creates a set of identical twins. The exact cause of conjoined twinning is not known.

There are non identical twins.Non-identical twins form from two completely separate eggs which are fertilised by two completely separate sperm. These fraternal twins are no more alike than any other siblings in a family with the same biological mother and father. Because identical twins share the same genes, they are always the same gender.
