Here the television is of the shape of a rectangle.

If we draw a diagonal then it will divide the rectangle into two right angled triangles.

So we have to find length of hypotenuse in this case that will be diagonal itself.

The measure of two legs are ,

28 in. and 15.7 in.

Now in a right angled triangle pythagoras theorem is applied as :

a^{2}+b^{2}=c^{2}

where a and b are legs of the triangle and c is hypotenuse.

So plugging values of a and b,

(28)^{2}+(15.7)^{2}=c^{2}

784+246.49=c^{2}

1030.49=c^{2}

c=32.101

So diagonal is 32.101 inches.

Rounding off it equals 32 inches.

Answer: The size of television is 32 inches. option B.

bazaltina [42]

Answer:

y=1/2x-5

Step-by-step explanation:

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m=(1-(-2))/(12-6)

m=(1+2)/6

m=3/6

simplify

m=1/2

----------------------

y-y1=m(x-x1)

y-(-2)=1/2(x-6)

y+2=1/2(x-6)

y=1/2x-6/2-2

y=1/2x-3-2

y=1/2x-5

Find an equation for the plane containing the point (1, 2, 3) and parallel to the plane x 2y 3z
sergeinik [125]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Heres the full question and solution:

Find an equation for the plane containing the point (1,2,3) and parallel to the plane x+2y+3z=5.

solution

Any plane parallel to x+2y+3z=5 is x+2y+3z=d

since the plane is passing through (1,2,3)

we substitute point in equation

1+2\times 2+3\times 3=d\\d=14
\\x+2y+3z=14

equation of the line is x+2y+3z=14
