Answer: The system of equations which has the same solution as the given system are,

(A-D)x+(B-E)y= C-F , Dx+Ey=F

And, (A-5D)x+(B-5E)y=C-5F, Dx+Ey=F

Step-by-step explanation:

Since here, Given System is, Ax+By=C has the solution (2,-3)

Where, Dx+Ey= F

⇒ If (2,-3) is the solution of Ax+By=C

Then By the property of family of the solution,

⇒ (2,-3) must be the solution of (A-D)x+(B-E)y=C-F, (A-5D)x+(B-5E)y=C-5F.

But it is not the solution of equation, (2A+D)x+(2B+E)y=C+2F, Ax+(B+E)y=C

Therefore second and fifth options are not correct.

Also we can not go to the third option.

Thus, Only Option first and fourth are correct.

zepelin [54]

Answer:

(a) V = 51200 cubic cm

(b) V' = 38912 cubic cm

(c) V'' = V - V' = 12288 cubic cm

Step-by-step explanation:

side of the square base, s = 32 cm

height, h = 50 cm

height of cake mixture, h' = 38 cm

(a) The capacity of the tin is the volume.

Capacity of tin, V =  s x s x h = 32 x 32 x 50 = 51200 cubic cm

(b) The volume of the cake mixture is

V' =  s x s x h'

V' = 32 x 32 x 38 = 38912 cubic cm

(c) Volume of unoccupied space is

V'' = V - V' = 51200 - 38912 = 12288 cubic cm

Nadia spent 1/4 of her money on a shirt and 2/5 of her money on new shoes. What fraction of Nadias money was spent?
Ulleksa [173]

Answer:

13/20 of her money was spent.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the answer you have to add these two fractions together, and to do that you must find a common denominator.

For this problem I chose to use 20 for the denominator since it is the smallest number that both 4 and 5 have in common.

Keep in mind that, whatever you do to the denominator, you must also do to the numerator, so if you multiply 5 by 4, you must also multiply 2 by 4.

5/20 + 8/20 = 13/20
