In my opinion the atomic bomb should NOT been used on Japan to end WWII because it killed innocent civilians who killed many people and children. A war should be between the soldiers and not the people. The United States had many more industrial resources to use against Japan however they wanted a more fast and "easy” way to end the war. Japan was also halfway destroyed so why more damage? It caused maximum devastation. Just six days after the Nagasaki bombing, the Emperor’s Gyokuon-hōsō speech was broadcast to the nation, detailing the Japanese surrender. The devastation caused by the bombs sped up the Japanese surrender, which was the best solution for all parties.
Answer:
In the western bloc, the Cold War was seen as the political, economic, social and cultural clash between two clearly antagonistic world views: the western, democratic, free and capitalist, which defended the rights of citizens to live under slogans of respect. for life, freedom and the pursuit of happiness; and the communist, aligned with the USSR and China, which sought to establish communist dictatorships that controlled through the government the entire political and economic apparatus of nations. Thus, the Cold War was seen as the world event in which both ideologies were debated in battle, and each bloc sought to enlarge its spheres of influence, that is, to bring more nations under its political model.

I believe if the South would've won we would have a lot more freedom than we have now.
But depending where Youre from cause some think the North or South. I would want the South to win cause I'm from the South, but sadly the North won.
