Tennis is many different things to many different people. That's a big part of the reason why you hear so much about it, it gets on TV, and the people who are really good at it get a lot of money for running around in their shorts while they play it on TV.

To people who hate tennis but have been told by their doctors that they'll shrivel up and die if they don't immediately take up a high intensity physically-demanding sport, tennis could reasonably be classified as an exercise program.

When that happens, the best answer from the choices provided would be the upper-case ' T ' for ' True ' .

Jason drives uphill from home to school, averaging 20 miles per hour. On the way back, he drives back downhill from school to ho
r-ruslan [8.4K]

Answer:

Average velocity = 30 miles per hour

Explanation:

Given that

Velocity for uphill = 20 miles per hour

Velocity for downhill = 60 miles per hour

We know that

Distance = Velocity x time

Total distance = Average velocity x total time

Lets take distance from home to school is s

Time taken from home to school= s/20 hr

Time taken from school to home= s/60 hr

Total time =s/20+s/60

Total distance = Average velocity x total time

s + s = Average velocity x (s/20+s/60)

So average velocity = 30 miles per hour

7. If a graph is showing a positive slope, and the graph itself is a straight line, what must be the x and y axis if the straigh
guajiro [1.7K]

An object has positive acceleration if it is accelerating and travelling in the right direction.

What does it signify if a position time graph has a straight line with a positive slope?

 • A straight line with a positive slope will appear on the Position vs. Time graph of an item travelling forward at a constant speed. It shows that the object's velocity is constant and that it is travelling ahead.
 • The y-axis of this sort of graph denotes position in relation to the starting point, while the x-axis denotes time. An object's distance from its beginning position at any given moment since it began moving is displayed on a position-time graph.
 • In a distance-time graph, the object's speed is equal to the slope or gradient of the line. The line becomes steeper as the thing goes more quickly (and the greater the gradient).
 • The starting point of the item is indicated by the y-intercept. An object's y-intercept is zero if it begins at the measuring instrument. Its y-intercept is 3 meters if it begins at a distance of 3 meters. When two items are in the same position, you may tell by where two lines intersect.
