A breast self-examination is a technique which allows an individual to examine the breast tissue for any physical or visual changes. By doing breast self-examination, an early detection of breast cancer can be done. Both men and women should perform a such examination at least once in a month.

The clinical breast examination is carried out to differentiate normal breast from a discrete breast mass. If a discrete mass is identified then evaluation is essential in all such cases to exclude breast cancer. This evaluation is based on the features of the clinical findings, the age of the woman, and her personal risk for breast cancer.

"which list contains only vitamins that do not function as coenzymes in energy metabolism?"
galben [10]
The right answer is: vitamin C and choline
Choline (vitamin B4) is the precursor on the one hand acetylcholine (important neurotransmitter and neuromodulator) and on the other hand, the cascade initiated by betaine (intermediate in the biological methylation and precursor of membrane lipids). In this, it is considered, by extension, as an integral part of the family of B vitamins,
Vitamin C protects against cellular aging, is essential for the immune defenses and increases the assimilation of iron of plant origin. It also contributes to the formation of collagen. Its deficiency leads to a disease called scurvy (hence the ascorbic acid name of vitamin C).

Scientists want to determine how closely related chimpanzees are to humans. Which data would give the MOST accurate comparison?
ipn [44]

The correct answer is option B) their DNA sequences.

The best comparison for finding out the evolutionary relationship between two organism is the comparison of their DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) sequence. The organisms, which are more closely related to one another share more similarity in the DNA sequence as compared to the distantly related organism, so, the comparison of the DNA can help in determining the evolutionary relationship between the organism.

What best explains why different cells within and individual organism function differently
Alexus [3.1K]

Answer:

The majority of living things are made up of various types of cells that are each specialized to execute a specific purpose. Because certain enzymes, also known as proteins, play a big role in biochemical function, distinct sets of genes must be turned on and off in different cell types. This is how cells differ from one another.
