4 0

Answer:

B. 4

Step-by-step explanation:

We are looking for the coefficient of the term x⁵. When we see it in the polynomial as 4x⁵, our coefficient and answer would then be 4.

A city of 6,688 has an area of 16 square miles. What is the population density of the city?
Ahat [919]
To find population density, it is population / area.

The population is 6688, divided by the area of 16.

6688/16 = 418

So the population density is 418 people per sq mile.

What freedoms are being taken away from women when people don’t believe in feminism or see it as a negative? Write a short parag
xxTIMURxx [149]
Not sure if this is the answer you're wanting or exactly asking for but in my opinion, I don't think women's freedoms aren't being taken away. I think that men and women are two different things in which men are better at some things than women and women are better at some things than men, so to me its just a matter of opinion or if someone chooses to believe that women's freedoms are being taken away. So I think that it isn't bad to not agree or to agree to feminism because women do have the freedoms men do but in some things, they might not be as good at than men and the same vice versa.

Which of the following represents "two times the sum of a number and fifteen is equal to six times the number"?
Ivanshal [37]
Answer: 2(N+15) = 6N

======

We let N be the number.
Then, "<span>the sum of a number and fifteen" would be

    N + 15

Two times this sum would give us

   2(N+15) ... you must distribute!

This must be equal to six times the number. Six times the number is 6N, therefore

   2(N+15) = 6N</span>

ABC has coordinates of A (-8,-8), B (4,-2), and C (2,2). Find the coordinates of its image after a dilation centered at the orig
kumpel [21]

The coordinates of the image after dilation are

A (-12 , -12) , B (6 , -3) , C (3 , 3) ⇒ answer B

Step-by-step explanation:

A dilation is a transformation that produces an image that is the

same shape as the original, but in a different size

When you dilate a figure, with

  • The center of dilation is the origin
  • The scale factor of dilation is k

Then the coordinates of each point of the figure is multiplied by k

to find the image of the figure after dilation

∵ ABC has coordinates of A (-8 , -8), B (4 , -2), and C (2 , 2)

∵ ABC is dilated by scale factor 1.5

∵ The center of dilation is the origin

- Multiply the coordinates of points A, B, and C by 1.5

∴ The image of point A = (-8 × 1.5 , -8 × 1.5) = (-12 , -12)

∴ The image of point B = (4 × 1.5 , -2 × 1.5) = (-6 , -3)

∴ The image of point C = (2 × 1.5 , 2 × 1.5) = (3 , 3)

The coordinates of the image after dilation are

A (-12 , -12) , B (6 , -3) , C (3 , 3)
