Answer:

Della does not have much money to spend on Jim’s gift.

Della loves her husband, Jim, very much.

Della wants to buy Jim a really nice gift.

Explanation:

According to another source, this is the passage that is included with this question:

Only $1.87 to buy a present for Jim. Her Jim. Many a happy hour she had spent planning for something nice for him. Something fine and rare and sterling—something just a little bit near to being worthy of the honor of being owned by Jim.

These are the facts that can be learned about Della based on the passage. In these lines, we learn that Della only has $1.87, which even at the time was not a lot of money. However, she wanted to buy something really nice, as conveyed by the fact that she wanted something "fine and rare and sterling." Finally, we can also assume that Della loves Jim very much based on the words she uses to describe him and the time she spends with him.

What assumptions are made about Oliver’s character in mr. fang’s court
AlladinOne [14]

Assumptions are made about Oliver’s character in Mr. fang’s court is Like Brownlow, and dissimilar to the English legitimate framework, the Maylies have confidence in absolution and thoughtfulness.

Explanation:

Dickens utilizes these characters, who accept that Oliver is inherently acceptable however naturally introduced to an awful domain, to show that indecencies can be battled by improving the material states of the poor as opposite to by rebuffing them. Oliver winds up with what's left of his legacy, is legitimately received by Mr. Brownlow, and lives not far off from the Maylies. Everyone lives joyfully ever after.

You are trying to convince your classmates to each donate $5 to abandoned animals
kotykmax [81]
Hi there, so when convincing someone to do anything either for you or for someone, you are going to want to appeal to their sense of logos, pathos, and ethos. Logos is logic which is usually the facts on why they should do this, pathos is using emotions to persuade someone to do something, and ethos is using the sense of right and wrong on someone and they know what is right and what is wrong. Now knowing this information, you can appeal to their logos or logic by saying, "About 95% of shelters that are donated too have helped to save an animal and help find them a home." This appeals to their logic because of its facts and makes them think about it. Appealing to their pathos can be, "Think about the animals, they don't deserve to be on the streets and think about how happy they will be when the shelter finds them a home." This would appeal to your classmate's feelings on how the animal really would be happy with that one donation. Appealing to their sense of right and wrong can be, "Remember when you got Sparky, how happy he was when you rescued him? Now you can help save other animals too." They would know that it is the right thing to do and they would 90% donate money to the abandoned animals. Hope this helped, if you have questions please ask!

The people's right to revolt against Britain.

Answer: Option B.

Explanation:

The paragraph in the above question has been taken from Common sense that has been written by Thomas Paine. In this paragraph, the author talks about the revolt that the people are going to make against the tyrant and the tyranny.

Tyranny is characterized as serious or unforgiving treatment. A case of oppression is somebody placing somebody in prison for quite a long time for a little wrongdoing. The meaning of oppression is a legislature or ruler with absolute force. A case of oppression is a nation run by a coldblooded despot.
