Independence movement in Asia is caused due to the decolonization in the Asia. The process of decolonization also influence African to gain their independence and set free from the clutch of European empire after world war II.

Explanation:

After 8 years of continuous fight at the end of second world war Britain gave independence to Africa. Cape and Natal were also in Africa. The full union got its independence and sovereignty in 1831 when the full power of Britain abolished from them.

European power became very weak after world war II and almost obscured due to the decolonization movement in various countries like Africa and India. After world war II this European weakness get affected by the decolonization and decentralization of Africa and Asia.
