Answer:

The Area of Trapezoid is 91 square cm .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The altitude of Trapezoid = h = 14 cm

The measure of parallel sides = b_1 = 5 cm

And  b_2 = 8 cm

Let The Area of Trapezoid = A square cm

<u>Now, According to question</u>

Area of Trapezoid = \dfrac{1}{2} × (sum of parallel side) × altitude

Or, A = \dfrac{1}{2} × ( b_1 +  b_2 ) × h

Or, A = \dfrac{1}{2} × ( 5 cm + 8 cm ) × 14 cm

Or, A =  \dfrac{1}{2} × 13 cm × 14 cm

Or, A = \frac{13\times 14}{2}

∴ A = 91 cm²

So, The Area of Trapezoid = A = 91 square cm

Hence, The Area of Trapezoid is 91 square cm . Answer

Charlotte reads 8 1/3 pages of a book in 10 minutes. What is her average reading rate in pages per minute?
sukhopar [10]
8\frac{1}{3} = \frac{25}{3}

25/3 pages of a book in 10 minutes

Multiply both numbers by the reciprocal of 10, which is 1/10

\frac{25}{3} \times\frac{1}{10} = \frac{25}{30}=\frac{5}{6}

10\times\frac{1}{10}= 1

So, Charlotte reads 5/6 pages of a book in 1 minute.
