Answer:

50% of getting A blood type

Explanation:

Using a punnet square you have (sorry cant do a square)

    IA IB

IA

i

Then you you add all the possible combinations from both parents genes

              IA IB

IA IA IA IA IB

i IA i IB i

You now have a 50% chance of A type blood because the lowercase (i) wont change the blood type outcome because the IA over shines it.

What is the probability of a child being a daughter with blood group O if the parents are both heterozygotes with blood group A?
konstantin123 [22]

Answer:

0.125

Explanation:

The probability of having a daughter is 50%.

The genotype of both parents is AO. The chance of having a child with an OO genotype is therefore 0.25

The probability of having a daughter who has the OO genotype and therefore blood group O is thus 0.5 × 0.25 = 0.125.

When microscope slides are stained to show blood cells?
gogolik [260]
When microscope slides are stained to show blood cells, the small red blood cells that appear on the slides are much more numerous than the large white blood cells. I believe this supports the fact that each kind of cell is present in the numbers best suited to meet the needs of the body. In other words it supports the concept of having normal blood. Red blood cells as compared to the white blood cells are really more numerous. In normal cases, human blood contains about 3.6 to 6.2 trillion/ L red blood cells while white blood cells only reaches 5 to 10 billion per Liter.
