The hypotenuse of a 45°-45°-90° triangle measures 128 cm. What is the length of one leg of the triangle?
GenaCL600 [577]
You can use the Pythagorean theorem to find this answer, by dividing 128 into two parts and finding the square roots of those. so 128/2 = 64  square root of 64 = 8

8^{2} +  8^{2}  = 128 So your answer should be 8

The sum of two angles formed by the intersection of two lines is 50°. Find the measures of the angles.
MrRissso [65]

Answer:

The measure of the angle will be 25°

Step-by-step explanation:

when two lines intersect each other, four angles are formed . Two of these angles are equal and the other two angles are also equal. The equality of the of these angles is due to the fact that they are vertically opposite angles.

Vertically opposite angles are equal. Since the sum of two angles formed due to the intersection of the two lines is equal to 50° , the two angles should be equal(vertically opposite angles).

The angles will be 50/2 = 25°. Each angle will be 25°. If we want to find the other 2 angles formed by the intersection we subtract 50 from 360°.  we will get 310. The angles will be 310/2 = 155°.  Generally the angles formed from the intersection of this 2 lines will be 25°, 25°, 155° and 155°.

Solve the equation <br> 6 - ( 3 - c ) = 2
Andreas93 [3]

Answer:

c = -1

Step-by-step explanation:

6 - (3 - c) = 2

6 - 3 + -(-c) = 2

3 + c = 2

c = 2 - 3

c = -1

Check:

6 -(3-(-1)) = 2

6 - (3+1) = 2

6 - 4 = 2

6(2x-12)=24 how do u actually solve this?
leva [86]
Step 1: You can distribute it by multiplying 6 by 2x and -12, so you get 12x-72= 24

Step 2: Now you can solve it by adding 72 on both sides, so we get 12x= 96, then you can divide 12 on both sides, so we get x=8.
