$238.60

divide 1,550.90 by 6.5 = 238.60

238.60 / 2 = 119.30

The distance y (in miles) that a truck travels on x gallons of gasoline is represented by the equation y=18x The graph shows the
salantis [7]

Answer:

Car M:

50.4/2 = 25.2

car M uses up 1 gallon every 25.2 miles

Car P:

Just from the graph, you can see that it uses up 1 gallon every 30 miles

The two graphs vary the /miles slightly but it is around their zones of 25.2 and 30. It varies slightly because the cars may be traveling at a fast speed or slower speed thus using up more or less fuel by the time they've reached the recorded distances on the graphs.

If cot(theta)=1.5 and theta is in quadrant 3, what is the value of sin theta
____ [38]
The answer:
cot(theta)=1.5, to find theta, cot(theta)=1.5 implies theta= arc cot (1.5)

but we kknow that cot(theta) = 1 /  tan(theta), this implies

 1 /  tan(theta) =1.5, and  tan(theta) = 1 / 1.5 = 0.6

and theta is in quadrant 3,  costheta and sintheta are negatives

so  tan(theta) is positive,

tan(theta) = 0.6, therefore,  (theta) = arctan ( 0.6)= 30.9°

finally  (theta) =  30.9°

Sam completed the square for the quadratic equation y=12x2−2x+3 in order to determine the minimum value of the equation, as show
Ulleksa [173]

In Step 1, she incorrectly factored out 1/2. She should have written y=1/2(x^2−4x+6).
