It depends on what form you are writing about.

If it is an essay, you want to use:

1. Introduce the topic that the paragraph is taking about. this is best through a linking sentence

2. Explain the message and pints that you are conveying

3. EVIDENCE!!!! This is key, you need to back up your points will evidence.

4. Conclude your final paragraph points and add a link to the next paragraph.
