Branching extensions of the neuron are dendrites.

Explanation:

Dendrites are the nervous tissue appendages rising from the soma or cell body of a nerve cell (neuron).

Structurally, they are membranous with an extensively branched-tree like structure called the dendritic tree especially structured to receive signals from another cell.

The branched dendrites connect with the axons of the adjacent neurons and forms axodendritic synapses to communicate between neurons.

Dendrites act as the primary sensors of a neuron since it receives the signals first as chemical signals which then pass to the soma. They are activated by neurotransmitters to aid in neurotransmission .

Explain the relationship between alcohol and other drugs used by adolescents and the role these substances play in STDs.
Anni [7]

Alcohol and drugs can alter people's judgment. They may take risks that might expose them to HIV that they would not take when sober.

Sharing needles to inject drugs (such as heroin, speed, or anabolic steroids) is VERY dangerous and can easily spread HIV (and other serious diseases) from one person to another.

Some people who are addicted to drugs may trade sex for drugs or money to get more drugs. This may put them at greater risk of HIV, especially if they do not always practice safe sex.

Though regressions can be a helpful tactic to employ while training individuals who are fat or overweight, even though there is no one optimum way to do it. The ACE Integrated Fitness Training (ACE IFT) Model promotes stability and mobility prior to movement since proper movement must be completed before integrating load. If the load phase transitions too quickly under severe resistance, improper movement patterns may result in joint stress or damage.
