Branching extensions of the neuron are dendrites.

Explanation:

Dendrites are the nervous tissue appendages rising from the soma or cell body of a nerve cell (neuron).

Structurally, they are membranous with an extensively branched-tree like structure called the dendritic tree especially structured to receive signals from another cell.

The branched dendrites connect with the axons of the adjacent neurons and forms axodendritic synapses to communicate between neurons.

Dendrites act as the primary sensors of a neuron since it receives the signals first as chemical signals which then pass to the soma. They are activated by neurotransmitters to aid in neurotransmission .

Aetna offers a variety of Aetna Medicare Advantage plan types. Which plan type requires a person to use only network providers
m_a_m_a [10]

HMO plan is the type that requires a person to use only network providers.

What is the HMO plan?

A network or organization that offers health insurance coverage in exchange for a monthly or yearly charge is known as a health maintenance organization (HMO).

An HMO is a collection of health insurance companies that restricts coverage to medical services delivered by physicians and other providers who have agreements with the HMO.

These agreements permit reduced premiums because healthcare providers benefit from patient referrals, but they also impose more limitations on HMO members.

Participants in HMO plans must first receive medical care services from a designated provider known as the primary care physician (PCP).

Healthcare plans that are alternatives to HMOs include point-of-service (POS) plans and preferred provider organizations (PPOs).

Effective managers know how to combine both the art and science of management to address thebroad range of issues they encounter

Behavior of Jack:

Jack is the manager, he does have the authority to correct Samantha but it is also his responsibility to make Samantha comfortable. He could have explained the situation to her calmly and make her understand the problem.

Jack did fail to some extent but he could rectify the mistake by apologizing and providing Samantha a clear explanation about how she can improve her performance. If Samantha does go to the PR and reports Jack, both of them leave the problem unsolved indicating lack of proper communication.

A manager should be able to communicate well with their workers and make them see the benefits for the company and their personal interests and then invest their effort into better performance.
